For nearly 2 years now I've been working on this customer designed 20 string acoustic Harp guitar. Its taken more patience (from me and the customer), design work and problem solving than anything I have ever done before and I've fell out with it on numerous occasions but now it is nearing completion Im starting to get rather pleased with her. It will have 6 bass on the upper bout, 6 guitar which will be played as a normal acoustic along the neck and 8 harp strings on the lower bout. The bass and Harp strings are open tuned and picked or strummed along with the music that you are playing on the guitar neck. They should also sympathetically resonate along with whatever piece you are playing. There are 2 more to make after this one is finished but hopefully they wont take as long!
